Quality control is at the heart of everything we do at Nova Rock Drill. Our customers depend on our parts to keep their equipment running in demanding conditions, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Supplier Qualification

We only work with suppliers who can demonstrate consistent quality through certifications, production audits, and track record. New suppliers undergo a rigorous qualification process before we place orders.

Incoming Inspection

All critical components undergo incoming inspection when received. We check dimensions, surface finish, material hardness, and other key parameters against our specifications. Parts that fail inspection are returned to the supplier.

Dimensional Verification

Precision components like pistons and cylinders are measured using calibrated instruments. We verify critical dimensions including bore diameter, piston diameter, and thread form to ensure correct fit.

Material Testing

For high-stress components, we conduct material testing including hardness measurement and, where required, metallurgical analysis. This verifies that the correct steel grade and heat treatment have been applied.

Traceability

We maintain full traceability for all components, linking each part to its supplier, batch, and inspection records. This enables rapid response if a quality issue is identified in the field.
